August always brings a shift. The air feels different. Routines reset. Backpacks reappear. And for many of us, there’s a return to something familiar: learning.
Here at Wellspring Living, we’ve seen firsthand how powerful education can be—not just in a traditional sense, but in transforming lives. Whether it’s a young woman walking into her first GED class on our campus, or a participant courageously choosing to pursue a new path, August reminds us that new beginnings are possible at every stage of life.
We don’t take it lightly that some of our participants are attending school right here on campus. That takes strength. That takes vision. And that takes a support system—and you are part of that.
As a new school year begins, we celebrate not just academic progress, but the courage it takes to start again. And we reaffirm our commitment to provide a space where hope and healing meet opportunity.
Looking Ahead: ACTIVATE Conference 2025
In this same spirit of growth and transformation, we’re excited to announce that registration is now open for our ACTIVATE Conference, happening November 6–7, 2025, at Mount Paran North Church.
This two-day experience is designed to educate, equip, and empower professionals, advocates, and community members in the fight against human trafficking. Attendees will gain practical tools grounded in the 4 Ps of combatting trafficking—prevention, protection, prosecution, and partnership—with sessions led by national experts, survivor leaders, and front-line organizations.
If you’re looking to deepen your impact and be part of a greater solution, I personally invite you to join us. Learn more and register at wellspringliving.org.
Together, let’s continue to create new beginnings—for our participants, for our communities, and for each other.
With gratitude,
Christian Murphy
