At Wellspring Living, every season brings new stories of growth, transformation, and collaboration. Our theme of “Transitions” has resonated in powerful ways this month—through survivor journeys, community partnerships, and moments of meaningful connection that remind us how healing is always possible with the right support.
This month, we observe World Day Against Trafficking in Persons on July 30, a critical moment to shine a light on the realities of exploitation and affirm our collective responsibility to protect and empower survivors. At Wellspring Living, this day was not only a time to educate and raise awareness—it was also a reaffirmation of our ongoing commitment to offer trauma-informed care, safe housing, education, and pathways to stability. Our programs remain rooted in the belief that every survivor deserves the opportunity to transition from crisis to confidence—with dignity and care.
We also found joy in the lighter moments of July through our Christmas in July celebration at Wellspring Treasures retail stores. With festive decor, community engagement, and generous shoppers, this opportunity reminded us that transitions don’t always have to be heavy—they can also be filled with laughter, color, and connection. Resources from our stores directly supports our programs, so every purchase and every visit was part of something bigger: the transition from surviving to thriving.
None of this work is done alone. This month, we’re especially grateful for our partners—individuals, churches, organizations, and volunteers—who walk alongside us in creating safe spaces and new beginnings for those we serve. Your belief in our mission sustains this movement, and we thank you.
As July comes to a close, I invite you to reflect with us on what transitions look like in your life and in your community. Change can be challenging, but it can also be sacred. At Wellspring Living, we remain committed to walking with survivors through every step of their transition—toward hope, toward healing, and toward a life they get to define for themselves.
With gratitude,
Christian Murphy
